Made from 100% Garnacha Tintorera, primarily from a vineyard planted in 1953 at 850 meters altitude, complemented by more Garnacha Tintorera from other old vineyards across the Duero Valley. This grape is also called Alicante Bouschet in France; it was widely planted all over Spain for its high acidity and ability to give dark color to wines. The wine was bottled unoaked and without malolactic fermenation. Amanda is a full-bodied rosado with high acidity and notes of red fruits, citrus, and minerals; eminently delicious as an aperitif or with a wide variety of cold tapas. 125 cases produced.
